Round and Round the Roundabout (social): This dance was written by Alan Davies to celebrate Ray and Rhona Hitchcock’s 25th wedding anniversary. Its title very accurately represents the millions of turns the dancers have to do to complete the dance.

A1: working couple (promenade
hold) start reel of 3 across set pass L shoulders, middle couples cast (M
- Left, W - right) into this reel so that it flows .
B: Ladies change ends for reels of
4 across the set, start by passing L shoulder with dancer of same sex (1st
man & 2nd man, 1st lady & 3rd lady, 4th lady & 2nd lady, 4th
man & 3rd man) FINISH WITH ORIGINAL END COUPLES TAKING PROMENADE HOLD
FACING LADY OF ORIGINAL MIDDLE COUPLE)
A2: Right shoulder reel of 3 along
the line, start by ladies passing R shoulder, solo men cast left into the
reel
C: Casts - working couple lead
into middle (walk), middles cast to nearest end (dance), middles lead in
while working couples cast out, middles cast back to end and working
couples lead into middle. End by new middle couples (original working
couples) hands 4 circle half way and new end couples 2 hand turn. Repeat
dance and some how get off.
